Thank Heaven for Little Girls!

Well I am three months into my gig as a mom of two little girls and all I can say is.. I love it. I love waking up to their sweet little faces every morning. I love dressing them up. I love it all! Yes, it does have challenges , but I try so hard to remember that God has blessed us big and if I take a little time to take it all in I realize just how wonderful my life is :-)

Our Newest Addition

Little Miss Hadley Elizabeth was welcomed into the world three days after her due date on August 18th, 2013 at 7:54 pm. :-) She weighed 8 lbs and 2 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches.

More Sugar and Spice!

Today will mark 32 weeks into my pregnancy with #2 which means that in 8 weeks (or maybe less) We will be meeting our newest addition. According the u/s #2 is also a girl. :-) I am so excited for my little girls to grow up together. I would love a boy at some point, but for now I am so looking forward to more pink and ribbons!

The Storms of Life

We were both blessed and surprised to find out on September 11th that we would be expecting another baby Memorial day weekend. We had just celebrated Aubrey's first Birthday and we were winding down from all the excitement. Unfortunately it was not part of God's master plan for us to meet our May baby. When we were about 8 weeks into the process we lost our little Angel.
Miscarriage is one of the toughest things I have ever gone through in my life. You feel so alone and isolated. You find yourself second guessing your grief because how can you really grieve a life that was so short.?I knew about our little angel for about 6 weeks before we lost her (we never knew her gender but I had a feeling she was a girl). I carried her inside of me and would day dream of the day she would meet her big sister and become part of our family. I clearly remember thinking "God is an amazing God to be blessing us with another baby this soon"..
I felt a kind of peace after the m/c but I still felt a little empty. I was fortunate enough to meet an awesome group of ladies on a m/c support group which was set up just for  mommies whose babies were due around ours. This has been the best therapy by far. I have also become closer to God during this time. He has held me through the whole process and I have found shelter in his wings. I truly believe he let me go through this loss a) to strengthen my faith in him b) to meet this wonderful group of woman.
Finally God is good! He is better than Good! He is sovereign and has a perfect plan.. We are excited and blessed to have found out shortly after Thanksgiving that we are expecting again. Now we are about 8 weeks out from meeting our rainbow baby!

More posts later to update everyone on all the craziness going on over here :-)

Welcome to my first post :-)

With all of the exciting changes in our life I decided that wanted to start a brand new blog to document them! I have attempted to keep up with several blogs over the past 5 years and I was only mildly successful. I look forward to really making a commitment to this one though :-) Lets see how that works out with a toddler and another baby on the way! I do love to write though (about all kinds of topics) So I thought this would be a great creative outlet. Tomorrow will mark my 26th week pregnant with baby #2. We are getting very excited to welcome a little one into the family. I talk to Aubrey all the time about a little sister joining us. I think she "gets" it... kind of.
I realize that not everyone reading this blog knows me in real life so I will use the next couple of posts to update everyone on all of the happenings of the Moeck Family.. so much going on and so much to be thankful for.. We are truly "Blessed beyond measures" all we need to do is take a minute to stop and take it all in ;-)
